Got to sit down and have lunch with a beautiful and vibrant soul💫. Haven’t seen her in months😩but surely distance got nothing on us🤗.

In the spirit of the weekend,

I decided to try FOOD SHACK 🤷🏽‍♀️.

P.S Note how this girls glow radiates even to the food

This is not my first time getting food from them, but this is my first time, going there, sitting down and eating 🤗🍽️.

When I got there I expected the outside space to be more spacious and all( pictures make it seem bigger🙂 but moving on.....

Well,my friend and i,were the only people there apart from the staff when we got there, it looked like it was closed so I asked and they said no. So we took our seats with good views✅ proper lighting ✅ Aesthetics✅ and then I asked is there light cause it was hot and they said yes and whala “ there was light💡“ and the place came to.... not yet❗️ sat down and asked my friend “no music?” And whala “soco by wiz kid" came on as if they knew a part of me was at the Afro republik concert “ Then the place came to life🎉💫🙌and it was time for choices (The Menu🤷🏽‍♀️).

In as much as we wanted to try everything, picking food off the menu was tough , I wanted everything 🤷🏽‍♀️😩.

1st meal 🤸🏽‍♀️.

The Shack Burger Ft French Fries

So we went for The shack Burger(N3200)🍔 and French fries(N700)🍟 .

Before starting off with the meal, we had both reminisced on Hard Rock Cafe French fries and how good they were, and were hoping this will beat it or a competition🙃( in some people’s mind “but there is nothing to fries is it not to just cut it or buy it put salt and kukuma fry it” you haven’t tasted fries without taste then 🤦🏽‍♀️)

The fries were alright and pretty decent ( I think that was the only thing we could finish that day😌.

Adequate salt ✅ ( but not a competition to Hard Rocks own).

The Shack Burger 🍔

I feel the problem was that two days before I had already tasted a mad burger (“EATALIAN “ burger by The harvest ) so I had so much hope🙏.

Well, this Burger was a bit weak🙁, tasted nice, but wasn’t too angry like that yunno cause it wasn’t that expensive😒not saying the Burger was not nice as I already stated it tasted nice but it wasn’t too joyous or juicy💦"like I like it"😏. It was pretty decent just felt that there could be a bit of work to be done on it like the cheese wasn’t melted on the beef patty but definitely going to try the “Zaddy Burger” next time😏.

••Beautiful Branding••

The Interior design/aesthetics at Food shack is worth speaking of, from the chairs to the tables to the chandelier, I mean too fine, new Instagram post ready✅🤷🏽‍♀️. If it was possible I would have carried this chandelier home I mean #shomoagemini.

Ambience✨

Nothing much to say we were the only ones inside 🤷🏽‍♀️ we had to feed off each other’s good and positive vibe/energy; so we entertained ourselves, danced shaku shaku ourselves🤗💃🏽💃🏽🙌🏽, without stares 👀.

My Juice, oh my juice...

This grape fruit juice reached my house oh😂😂😩😩🤷🏽‍♀️. I definitely had to reap the fruit of my N1500 on this juice.

First off I think I ordered the juice absent minded, because when the juice came I was confused I was like is this not meant to purple🤔, then I looked at the menu again “GRAPE FRUIT” and I reasoned the whole thing. I had put myself in a bit of a “tang tang” situation😖😖“mood: who sent me 🤦🏽‍♀️”, was angry at myself but moving on.... the ice helped, A lot! and this is the only drink I’ve had that lasted after the whole meal, packaged it and even took it home to tell my sister my tale😩 now you know what I mean when I said I had to reap the fruit of my labour it tasted really fresh and really like the jars it came in👌🏽💯.

So I had the Shack wings (12pcs for N3000)

Yes, These wings were beautiful ✅, succulent✅, and perfectly marinated✅( had to bite the bone, and yes there was flavouuuuurrr🤗💫) very tender ✅

The 12pcs didn’t seem like much but after like 6pcs

I started telling myself;

-is like you want your jeans to pop open here🤷🏽‍♀️😩

I had to maintain and pack the rest while taking sips of my drink😖. I definitely recommend this and I wish I could mix wings 6pcs of shack wings and 6pcs of Sweet and spicy wings but oh well 🤷🏽‍♀️).

Plantain cut like fries (N700)

"Yes please!"🙌🏽🙋🏽

It looked really appealing , it was just normal plantain in your house cut like fries, don’t be expecting anything different🙃, you can’t go wrong with plantain 🤷🏽‍♀️ and they didn’t🙂.

•••Finally, Last part of the Review•••

The last segment has to do with my service:.

To be honest my service wasn’t bad🤷🏽‍♀️. I got everything I want at an average timing👌🏽⌚the drinks came 3mins after ordering it (which I was happy with but you see “man can never be satisfied” would have liked it if the food and drinks came at the same time because what usually happens is that I've finished the drink before the food arrives then it will now make me buy water which is N350 ( God knows how I’m on the rave that water should not cost past N150🙄) But yeah I give them credits on bringing it on time🙌🏽 and the food came 35mins later which is average, so they didn’t really fail me🤗 cause they make the food as you order it🙂.

Self explanatory menu👌🏽. Yes, they’ve increased the prices of some things so carry extra (N500, N200 or N50) if you’ve been there before a long time ago.

Yesss something I also want to share:

I feel service charge should not be by force I even told the guy that served us “no, but in sugarcane you choose if you should pay or not” and he was like “this is not sugarcane! ” and it really isn’t 🤷🏽‍♀️ so as not be pissed off I just yunno what please just forget🙄.
